General Conference Weekend

On Friday we went to Aric's mission reunion; he served in Romania. I also served several mini missions in Rpmania, but it was not a full time mission. Although the mission reunion was for Henson and Ashbies, there were few people that I knew and they were mostly young with no children. I saw some familiar faces which was awesome. We also ate sarmale and salata de biof and they were delicious. Lately I crave chocolate or brownies; they had some there.

I thought the conference was awesome and the talks were so appropriate for our times. I enjoyed all of them and I can't wait to have the chance of re-reading them. It seemed to me that this weekend was way too short; I guess time flies by when we enjoy it the most.

During priesthood session I went shopping with Cristina. It has been a tradition for me that every conference during priesthood session I go to the mall or somewhere else shopping. Before I was pregnant I used to get pampered at Nordstrom; o had a facial, massage, makeup, treats, and some other girly things. Since I had Aren I can't really go because she would not be cooperative so I go shopping. This year we went to TJ Max and then to Old Navy. Again, time flied by way too fast. I bought an outfit from old Navy for my little boy. LOL After I picked up Aric, we fought traffic for a little while and then went to the mall and I bought a pair of church pants for the baby for only $5 from Gap; it was such a sweet deal that I couldn't pass it. Then we went home and watched Cars and ate ice cream; pf course, Aren was asleep. :D I only took pictures of the reunion, so no shopping pictures this time.
