California here we come; round trip part 2

Our first day in CA we visited some of my parents friends from their church. They do missionary work in the baptist church back home and my brother is their translator and guide. They took us to the ocean...This is all of us at the ocean; we gathered see shells and wondered around. It was a cold day but lots of fun.

Then they took us to a Ruby's out in the water, It was very breezy and cold, but again, it was nice. We had some see food; I had a salad and it was so huge that everyone started to laugh when they brought it to me.
Sunday we went to the baptist church and it took us longer than we expected to get there. It was the day of Pentecost which was a memorable day for my mother; she got baptised on that day. She was a little disappointed that they said nothing about the event (Pentecost); church here in the states is quite different from what my parents are used to. After church they took us to a real Chinese restaurant where kept bringing all kinds of food and asking us if we wanted any. It was a nice experience and I tried more than I would have otherwise.
