Aren's Doctor appointment
Today I took poor Aren to the doctor for her 12 month checkup and she got her shots. Poor girl was holding to my hands so tight. The doctor said that she was healthy and ketching up on her height. She is 25 inches now and is in the 18%. (He said that now she is like 2 out of 10 children of her age group) He told me that I should switch her back to her baby car seat because she needs to be 20 pounds and she is only 17.8; she is in the 5%. I was not expecting him to tell me that and I am not sure if I will be obedient or not. Aren really loves facing us in the car. Luckily I have both my car seats in the car because Oana was here with her baby and it was easier to use my car seat. I feel that Aren's new car seat is safer than the old one and it fits better in my car. I am also concerned that Aren will freak out. I have been telling her that now she is a big girl and she gave up her bottle too and now it feels like I am moving backwards, or maybe I moved to fast in certain things. Well, we will see. Do you have any advice for me? Would it be stupid of me to let her in her new big girl car seat? Should I switch her back?

Nu stiu ce sa zic fiindca si noi l-am pus pe Andrew sa vada in fata mai repede de un an fiindca el plangea de fiecare data cand il puneam in masina. Dupa aceea el a inceput sa iubeasca masina. Asa ca cred ca depinde de tine. Binenteles ca nu vrei sa-i faci ei rau dar deasemenea in cazul meu el se facea albastru de plans asa ca noi ne-am decis ca este mai bine daca vede ce se intampla.
Da, intradevar si Aren e cu mult mai fericita de cand poate vedea ce se intampla in jurul ei. Eu cred ca e destul de mare si sta bine in scaunul ei cel nou.
eu as lasa-o asa.. ca e aproape de 20 de pounds. si eu am pus-o pe bia cu fatza de cand avea vreo 8 luni ca nu mai incapea in celalalt.

Toti copiii mei au fost sub 20 lbs la un an. Ana nu avea decat 16 lbs. Dar noi i-am pus cu fata pentru ca toti urau sa stea cu spatele si sa nu vada nimic. Normal, decizia e a ta, dar sincera sa fiu atata timp cat ei sunt fericiti, asta e ce conteaza. Din cate stiu eu, trebuie sa stea cu spatele doar in caz ca daca e vreun accident sa nu li se rupa gatutul pentru ca nu e inca destul de stabil. Dar un copil de 1 an are gatul stabil deja.
Stii ca ei zic ca copiii sa stea in booster seat pana au 100 lbs. Daca ei ma urmeaza pe mine, atunci se vor casatori si tot vor trebui sa stea in booster seat!:)
Mersi pentru sfaturi. Acum ma simt mai bine. O cunostinta de a mea de la gym are o fetita de aceasi varsta ca aren si cantareste 15 pounds. Ea mi-a zis ca e off the charts. Intradevar nu cred ca e sanatos sa fie chiar asa de slabi. Chestia e ca aceasta cunostinta este foarte grasa si si sotul ei la fel si mi-a zis ca nu intelegea de ce copila ei e asa de slaba, dar e sanatoasa.
faptul ca ei (parintii) sunt grasi este semn ca efortul lor zilnic nu depaseste intake-ul in mancare. deci, sunt grasi!
pe cand copii se ingrasa mai greu mai ales daca sunt super activi ca Aren. so I say, relax! it is all american obsession stuff! as long as you feed her on time and do all your best, i am sure she will be fine :D
I wasn't complaining about her weight. Chestia e ca fetita aia nici nu e activa. Nu merge inca si nici nu se catara pe nimic, deci nu cred ca e din acea cauza. Intradevar copii se fac mai slabi cand cresc si merg si fug prin casa. Aren e bine. Nu e grasa si nu e slaba desi pare sa fie ca e in 5% dar arata bine si nu ne facem griji. Era doar ciudat ca doctorul sa imi spuna sa o tin in scaunul de bebe ca nu am mai auzit de la nimeni asa ceva si stiam ca multi deja ii pun facing the front de cand au 8 luni sau ceva.
Annie , nu te mai ingrijora pentru orice, iti spun din experienta .Mi sa spus de catre cineva apropriat ca Madalina are colona stramba , am fost la trei doctorii .Apoi ca Ionut are un defect la putulica , am fost de asemsnea la multi doctori si am suferit foarte mult . totul era in regula :D. chiar au ras doctorii , chestia este ca toate astea mi lea spus cineva , care se credea experta dupa cinci copii.Inima de mama iti spune cand ceva nu este in regula .
