Hurray for Independence Day!!!

Well, I realized that the first picture has nothing to do with the celebration, but Aric bought an elderberry tree and we already had enough to make some elderberry drinks out of it. Elderberry trees grow everywhere in Romania and people make juice out of it during the early Summer. We enjoyed it on our 4th of July celebration
Aric is not much fun around the holidays; he doesn't care as much about them and I had to convince him to wear something patriotic. LOL He always manages to find chores for himself and even this 4th of July he built a shed in our back yard to store some of his cars and 2 water tanks. to bad i didn't take any pictures of that, but I took some pictures of the fun we had because we had lots of fun on this day. :D

We went to the parade in the morning and we were late because Aric was waiting on a guy that promised that would bring him some money for the car he fixed. LOL What a good start. We were so lucky that it was a little overcast because the heat was endurable. The above picture is with the missionaries and Aren was clapping as they were passing by. only in Utah you could see missionaries march in the parade and it was actually a great feeling; people rose to their feet and were cheering for them.
Well, we managed to take a picture with the all of us; lately it's impossible to do that. After the parade we stoped by RC Wileys t look at some stuff although we bought nothing. then of course, Aric had to take me to Springvile because he boroughed a backhoe from work and he drove it all the way to Payson; it took us over an hour; luckily Aren took her nap around that time. Springvile is 15 minutes away from Payson, but we drove 20 hm. LOLI thought this was a cute picture with Aric and Aren.
I made this cake with jello, a pound cake, strawberries and blueberries. It turned out pretty good. My sister in law called because she didn't really had any plans so all the sudden we had people over. Aren had fun with her cousins and Aric had fun with his brothers building his shed. LOL I also had fun with my sister in law and I made some chicken nuggets, hot wings, Cole slaw, hot dogs, and some cookies. My brother in law made pork chops. Yummy!!! The weather was crazy in Utah; it was windy and I thought that the fireworks might be canceled We got there right on time for it and we enjoyed them. To my surprise Aren enjoyed them too. She was running around and clapping and laughing. it was so much fun; she wasn't scared at all which surprised me because she gets scared when I use the vacuum; I thought the fireworks were louder. LOL After all, we had a great time and it was one of our best 4th of July's; last year Aren was sick so we didn't do much.

Happy independence Day!!!!!

Ce frumos! Imi place tortul tau!

Macar poti incerca; asa am facut si eu.
